A Typical Day
9:00am - 10:30am
Meet in the classroom to start the day with centers. Centers include blocks, process art, home living, sensory play, science & nature, and manipulative exploration. Children also engage with teachers one-on-one during playtime and with art projects. All toys are rotated on a regular basis to provide children with age-appropriate opportunities to enhance their social-emotional and motor skills
Circle Time: The children sit as a group to discuss the weekly theme, listen to stories, and introduce color, shape, and letter concepts. The calendar is done to reinforce math concepts. Children practice listening and speaking skills.
Snack time! We sit together and enjoy a snack from home and encourage conversation and good table manners.
*Please note: First Baptist is a peanut-free school.*
